The graduate demonstrates knowledge of economics, management and finance, information systems, and statistics and econometrics. This field of study trains specialists in the following areas: design and application of information systems, management of an entrepreneur, application of mathematical, statistical and econometrical methods and tools to analyze macroeconomic and microeconomic processes. Studies of first degree prepare its graduates for studies of second degree, where they can master in many fields and specialties, for example a new specialty of business analytics studied in the field of computer science and econometrics.
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:
Graduates of the business analytics specialization work as business data analysts in economic information processing centers and in enterprise management departments. Graduates of the specialty of statistics and econometrics - in centers for processing economic information or enterprise management. On the other hand, graduates of the specialty of information systems - in computer companies and IT centers.
Candidates will be admitted according to the ranking list based on the results of the matriculation examination.
Number of points for the ranking is determined as the weighted average number of points corresponding to the matriculation examination in subjects specific to the field of study.
Points for the ranking (R) are calculated using the formula:

o1, o2 – points for Modern foreign language
x2 – points for Geography or History or Computer Science
1 – elementary level or verbal maturity examination
2 – advanced level or written maturity examination
If there is no points or ratings of the required exam for a specific subject in the graduation certificate of secondary education, the ranking value is set to zero points.

The results obtained by a candidate holding a maturity certificate / secondary school graduation abroad are Polish converted into recruitment points (P) according to the formula:
P = 98 ( S-m) / (M - m) + 2

S - is the calculated rating
M – maximum grade according to the scale used in a foreign school
m – minimum (admitting, qualifying) grade according to the scale used in a foreign school.
