In the case of admission to studies, candidates with documents issued in a foreign language are obliged to translate them into Polish.

Foreign documents that need to be translated: certificates, diplomas, additions to foreign certificates/diplomas in the form of a list of subjects and grades (diploma supplement) - transcripts, apostille or legalisation certificates (if they are drawn up in a foreign language) and medical certificates.

University of Zielona Góra accepts translations into Polish made by:

• sworn translator, entered by the Ministry of Justice on the list of sworn translators - the list of sworn translators can be found on the website of the Ministry of Justice, (quick search engine for sworn translators), or
• a consul of the Republic of Poland appointed for the state on whose territory or in whose educational system the certificate was issued - Polish consulates around the world, or
• diplomatic mission or consular office, accredited in the Republic of Poland, of the state on whose territory or in whose educational system the certificate was issued.
