Check the detailed rules for converting recruitment points:

Full time second degree studies, only persons who have a masters degree, an engineer, a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent degree are entitled to take up second-cycle studies.

Candidates for studies are accepted according to the order on the ranking list based on the scores:

  • for the calculated result of graduation inscribed into the diploma,
  • for compliance or affinity of the course of completed studies with the selected second-cycle studies.

The direction of completed studies with the selected second-cycle studies is:

  • compatible when it is the same field of completed first-cycle studies (with the bachelor’s degree, engineer’s degree or equivalent degree),
  • related when it is the direction such as:
  • public administration
  • national security
  • economics
  • philology
  • Polish philology
  • philosophy
  • history
  • education
  • political science
  • psychology
  • international relations.

In the case where the course of completed studies:

  • is in line with the second-cycle program, then the number of credits equals the calculated result of graduation plus two points,
  • is related to the second-cycle studies, then the number of points equals the calculated result of graduation plus one point,
  • is neither consistent nor related to the second-cycle studies, then the number of points equals the converted result of the completion of studies.

The final grade, grades for the completed courses and the mean grades (S) granted according to grading systems in other schools and universities are adjusted to the final grade, grades and mean grades (N) according to the grading system used in the University of Zielona Gora according to the following formula: N = 3 ( S-m) / (M – m) + 2, where M is the maximum and m is the minimum (pass grade/qualifying) grade used in the other schools or universities.
